Locations
• Platinum Performance Dance Academy: 2843 Jerusalem Avenue, Wantagh, NY 11793
• Oceanside Dance Center: 3394 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572
About:
The drop-in rate is $15.00 for the first two classes. Then, if you'd like to continue, sign-up is required (monthly tuition). This self-defense class is an ongoing, one hour class that teaches women how to prevent rape, assault, and abduction. While this class is currently not in session, we are looking to start up a new class. Please note: this class is not a workshop -- it is a class where you learn and practice regularly (each class is taught from the standpoint of having no experience in self-defense). Meditation is included at the end! We inspire participants to go from being the victim, to becoming an attacker against their attacker(s). Grand Master Gene Perceval, the instructor, has been teaching for over fifty seven years. This class covers traditional martial arts techniques and advocates for a world focused on respect, harmony, inspiration, and living in calmness of mind. Please arrive five minutes early.
